Philadelphia man charged with robbery of Haddonfield bank

(Cherry Hill Courier-Post) A Philadelphia man is accused of robbing a bank here.

Daniel Weary, 27, allegedly threatened a teller with a gun during the April 6 holdup of a Republic Bank office on Kings Highway in Haddonfield, authorities say.

Weary was arrested Friday night in Philadelphia on unrelated charges, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

No one was injured in the robbery, which occurred just before 6 p.m.

Weary, who allegedly wore a burka to conceal his appearance during the holdup, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and weapons offenses.
