Schools monitored for jihad recruitment Cooperation between schools and intelligence

(ANSA) Italian authorities said Thursday that they had started monitoring schools for the risk of jihadi recruitment.

According to anti-terror investigators, the young are among the “vulnerable individuals most exposed to the risks of radicalisation.”

Intelligence services were [said] to be in constant contact with various offices of security police DIGOS to receive information and complaints from school heads on possible “deviant” behaviour by students.
