(European Conservative) A French polling institute has filed a complaint against two members of parliament which accused it of creating a “fake” and “Islamophobic” survey about radicalization among Muslims.
Ifop strongly rejected the accusations from the La France Insoumise (LFI) MPs and said the study was carried out using normal research methods. The institute also said that LFI refuses to recognize the growth of Islamist ideas in France.
The study found that 59% of young Muslims support the idea of introducing Sharia law and 38% agree with some Islamist positions — twice as many as in 1998.
