(Calgary Herald) Calgary terrorism suspect Zakarya Rida Hussein will make a bid for freedom on July 17.
Law student John Mikhayal appeared in Calgary Court of Justice on Monday on behalf of Hussein and defence counsel Rame Katrib to schedule a bail hearing for the accused.
“I have a bail date to propose to the court,” Mikhayal told Justice Anne Brown.
“That would be July 17.”
Mikhayal said the date was in agreement with the assigned prosecutors, who did not attend the brief court appearance.
