(ITV) A TikTok user from Birmingham with more than 27,000 followers has gone on trial accused of having a bomb-making video on his phone.
A court heard the video showed how to make an improvised explosive which had been used in previous terrorist attacks in the UK.
Jurors were told Adam Mahmood from Birmingham had a video showing how a Hamas rocket is made.
Mahmood, 20, of Platt Brook Way in Sheldon, denies a single count of possessing a recording likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, in April 2024.
At the opening of the trial at Birmingham Crown Court, prosecuting barrister Sahil Sinha said a video on Mahmood’s phone provided a detailed guide to producing an explosive which has been used in previous terror attacks in the UK.
