(Toronto Sun) Despite declaring a Vancouver-based “sham charity” a terrorist organization nearly a year ago, Canada still refuses to revoke its status as a not-for-profit corporation.
In October 2024, former public safety minister Dominic LeBlanc listed Vancouver-based Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network as a terrorist entity under the Criminal Code of Canada due to their alleged links to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization.
“The Criminal Code prohibits certain actions in relation to terrorist groups, including those related to terrorist financing, travel and recruitment,” said a government news release making the announcement.
