(BBC) A man has appeared in court over a disturbance on an Easyjet flight from Luton to Glasgow Airport on Sunday.
Abhay Nayak, 41, was arrested and charged after the flight landed at about 08:20 on Sunday morning.
Mr Nayak, of Luton, entered no plea at Paisley Sheriff Court over charges of assault and endangering the safety of an aircraft.
Counter-terror police had initially assessed video footage of the incident. Mr Nayak is not facing terrorism charges.
A video shared online showed a man on the aircraft who appears to shout “death to America, death to Trump” and “Allahu Akbar” — an Arabic phrase meaning “God is greatest.”
