Two more arrests made in UK linked to Cyprus terrorism investigation

(Philenews) Two additional arrests have been made in the United Kingdom in connection with an ongoing terrorism investigation in Cyprus, according to reliable sources from Phileleftheros, with the individuals detained and allegedly directly related to the case.

Cyprus authorities’ investigations surrounding the extremely serious case involving terrorist activity and the arrest of an Azerbaijani suspect are in full development and conducted under extreme secrecy.

The case involves foreign intelligence services as well as Europol and Interpol.

According to information obtained by the website, significant evidence has been found in the suspect’s flat, which will be sent for forensic and other examinations. Specifically, photographic equipment, notes, computers, three mobile phones and professional tripods with telephoto lenses were discovered.
