Iranian hackers threaten Albania: ‘Iran has the right to strike camp in Manzë with missiles’

(Euronews) The Iranian hacker group Homeland Justice has resurfaced with new threats against Albania, spreading alarming content on social media.

Taking advantage of the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, which escalated last Friday, the group issued a threatening message linked to Albania’s hosting of members of the exiled Iranian opposition group, the Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK), based in the Manzë camp near Durrës.

In a statement posted on their Telegram channel, Homeland Justice claims: “Iranians have the right to strike the Manzë camp with missiles.”

The threat was accompanied by a cyberattack targeting the official website of the municipality of Tirana.
