Cops arrest Toronto man after online threats posted against Jews Basel al-Sukhon, 26, is accused of writing Zionists belong in 'unmarked graves,' and last week's murder of two Israeli embassy staffers 'ain't f—king enough'

(Toronto Sun) A Toronto man faces charges after allegedly calling for violence against Toronto’s Jewish community, according to police.

The Toronto Police hate crimes unit arrested Basel al-Sukhon, charging him with uttering threats and indecent communications in connection with a number of threatening social media posts that went viral over the weekend.

Police alleged a profanity-laced rant allegedly posted by an Instagram account named “basukhon” contended, in part, that all “Zionists belong in an unmarked grave.”

“2 israeli ambassadors who support mass starvation of children and genocide is a start but it ain’t f—ing enough,” said the post, referring to last week’s murder of two young Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C.
