(AFP) Sweden’s employment and integration minister said Thursday that he intended to chart “Islamist infiltration” in his country, following a report sounding the alarm about the Muslim Brotherhood in France.
French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday ordered the government to draw up proposals to tackle the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and the spread of political Islamism in France.
The announcement came after Macron chaired a security meeting to examine a report [that] warned about the Muslim Brotherhood, saying the movement poses “a threat to national cohesion” in France.
