U.S. offers $5 million for info on Somali-Dutch ISIS suspect

(NL Times) The United States has issued a 5-million-dollars reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Khadra Essa, a Somali-Dutch woman believed to be a key figure in the terrorist organization ISIS, RTL reports. According to the U.S. Department of State, Essa, also known as Umm Qaqa al-Somali, joined ISIS in 2014 after traveling to Syria.

The U.S. government claims that Essa has been trained in the use of weapons, explosives, and suicide operations. She is accused of encouraging fellow ISIS members to commit acts of violence and carry out terrorist attacks.
