(Toronto Sun) Toronto Police are now investigating after [a] troubling flag emblazoned with two M4 carbine guns that represents a known Middle East terror group was displayed at a downtown rally on New [Year’s] Eve.

“The Hate Crime Unit is investigating this incident,” Toronto Police spokesperson Nadine Ramadan said Thursday.

Just hours before terror carnage rocked the United States as it ushered in 2025 on New Year’s Eve, a flag representing a deadly new terror group out of Palestine was seen displayed near where many were taking in the fireworks show on the city’s harbourfront.

It’s unknown if this flag making an appearance among pro-Hamas demonstrators in Queen’s Quay, who later took over the main hall of Union Station, was a warning to any potential terrorism in Canada.
