(Morocco World News) Spanish authorities have publicly commended Morocco’s General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST) for its instrumental role in dismantling an ISIS-linked terror cell on November 22.
The cell, composed of nine members operating in Morocco and Spain, posed what officials described as a “real threat” to both countries’ security.
In an X post today, the Spanish National Police lauded the joint operation, calling it a model of international cooperation.
“The collaboration of Morocco’s General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST) was decisive in dismantling this cell,” the post read.
