Belgrade crossbow attacker swore allegiance to Islamic State leader, video indicates

(Radio Free Europe) A man who wounded a policeman in front of the Israeli Embassy in Belgrade with a crossbow on June 29 had sworn allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State (IS) terror group, according to a video seen on July 5 by RFE/RL.

Milos Zujovic, who took the name Salahudin when he converted to Islam, said in the video that he swore allegiance to Abu Hafs al-Hashimi al-Quraishi, “the leader of all Muslims.”

The place or date that the video was recorded was not clear.
