(National Desk) A protester waved a flag representing terrorist group Hezbollah during a pro-Palestine demonstration outside the New York Stock Exchange building in Manhattan Monday, according to videos shared online.
The demonstration came amid a multi-U.S. city effort to demand the Biden administration cease providing support to Israel during its war with Hamas. In honor of “Tax Day,” pro-Palestine protesters in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and other cities disrupted “economic logistical hubs” in hopes of sending a monetary message to the federal government.
“There is a sense in the streets in this recent and unprecedented movement for Palestine that escalation has become necessary: there is a need to shift from symbolic actions to those that cause pain to the economy,” a notice by PopularResistance.Org reads.
