Charges against one man dropped following Eaton Centre protest: cops

(Toronto Sun) All charges against one of the men arrested following a high-profile incident during a demonstration in the Toronto Eaton Centre have been dropped.

Toronto Police responded on Dec. 17 at about 4:55 p.m. to the area of Yonge and Shuter Sts. where it’s alleged that two men were participating in an anti-Israel protest at the downtown mall.

At the time, police alleged the men were blocking the entrance to a store and preventing employees from closing.

Police alleged both men pushed security and were trying to gain entry into the store.
