(Sky News) NSW Police say they are monitoring Al Rahman Mosque as it holds a commemorative service for Hezbollah fighter Hussein Ibrahim Salameh, known as Nasser, killed in Lebanon this month.
On Christmas Eve, Hezbollah announced six militants were killed between December 21 and 23, including Nasser, according to the Israeli Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Centre.
The Al Rahman Mosque, based in the south Sydney suburb of Kingsgrove, said on their Facebook page it will hold a memorial service for the Hezbollah fighter on Thursday.
Hezbollah, whose primary enemy is Israel, is designated a terrorist organisation in Australia.
