(CBC) A 15-year-old Ottawa boy charged with plotting a terrorist attack against Jewish people appeared in court on Wednesday, where a bail hearing was scheduled for January.
He will remain in custody until his next appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa on Jan. 15.
The teen appeared in court by video from a youth detention facility early Wednesday afternoon wearing a brown crewneck sweatshirt.
He said his name and date of birth, and consented to the bail hearing being held almost a month from now.
He cannot be identified due to the protections of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
