Fourth suspect of Brussels shooting charged in France

(Belga) A man was charged and detained in Paris on Thursday as part of the investigation into the 16 October attack in Brussels that killed two Swedish fans. Four suspects have now been charged in France, the national anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office (PNAT) said on Saturday.

French investigators are looking into their links to Abdesalem Lassoued, the 45-year-old Muslim extremist from Tunisia who shot dead two Swedes and wounded another with a machine gun in Brussels on 16 October. The man who was arrested on Thursday is suspected of helping Lassoued obtain a weapon.
