Suspected jihadist in Granada is among four arrested in Spain today As part of nationwide anti-terror operation following attacks in France and Belgium

(Olive Press) A suspected jihadist has been arrested in Andalucia as Spain intensifies its anti-terror operations following attacks in France and Belgium.

The 22-year-old was cuffed following a raid on his home in Huetor Tajar, Granada, on Friday [morning].

According to news agency EFE, Policia Nacional were alerted to the suspect through his “jihadist activity” on social media.

A total of four suspected jihadists have been arrested today as part of a nationwide counter-terror operation.

The investigations are still ongoing and police are not revealing any further details.
