(NCA NewsWire) Disturbing footage of a man confronting plane passengers has emerged on board a flight that was forced to turn back, as the AFP conducts an emergency investigation at Sydney International Airport.

The man, who was wearing a backpack on his front side, can be heard in the video saying: “My name is Mohammed, slave of Allah.”

“Are you a slave of Allah? Are you? Say it. Say it! Are you a slave of Allah?” the man continued, seemingly asking a flight attendant.

That flight attendant can then be heard replying: “Yes I am.”
