(Brisbane Times) Minutes before he is shot dead on the side of the Logan Motorway, two Queensland police officers approach Raghe Mohamed Abdi.
It’s 6.12am on December 17, 2020.
Hours earlier, police had found the bodies of 87-year-old Maurice and 86-year-old Zoe Antill in the backyard of their Parkinson home.
They were yet to link Abdi to the killings.
Abdi had been walking east along the right shoulder of the highway and traffic cameras had picked up his unusual behaviour.
“Mate, you see all the cars? You see the cars coming?” one officer asks Abdi on the side of the motorway, explaining he’s causing a traffic hazard. “We’ll help you get off the road.”
