(NCA NewsWire) A convicted terrorist sympathiser … allegedly began looking up material about executions, beheadings and torture just a day after he was released from jail, a court has heard.
Radwan Dakkak, who supports views held by Islamic State, has this week been hit with six new anti-terror charges as part of an ongoing investigation into his activities by the Australian Federal Police.
Dakkak, 25, was jailed for 18 months in December for associating with a member of a terrorist organisation.
He was released on January 1 having already served the majority of his sentence while in custody awaiting those court proceedings to finish.
