New Islamic Relief Worldwide chairman celebrated Muslim Brotherhood on social media Posts by employees of the global charity raise concerns over extremist influence for governments

(National-UAE) Senior employees of Islamic Relief Worldwide, a British registered charity, have regularly published social media posts showing support for Hamas and Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, and circulating conspiracy theories.

Three current employees have used personal accounts to highlight material of a type that the Birmingham-based charity has deemed to be “unacceptable” and “inappropriate.”

Abdul Mannan Bhatti, a fundraising co-ordinator with IRW, this week deleted his Facebook account that included posts with regular quotes from Sayyid Qutb, a founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ammar Elkhateeb, an IRW employee, posted pictures of Hamas’s Ezzedine Al Qassam Brigades fighters praying in memory of former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi, a Brotherhood member.
