(AAP) A woman accused of recruiting an Islamic State fighter has faced a Melbourne court on terrorism charges.
She is accused of being in contact with an Islamic State terrorist in 2015 and later allegedly helping someone travel overseas to fight with the group.
The 22-year-old from the southeast suburb of Hallam appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, but cannot be named as she was underage at the time of one of her alleged offences.
Court documents allege she associated with a person promoting or directing activities of Islamic State between February and March 2015.
In June the following year, she is accused of recruiting someone to the terror group, and performing services for a person intending to engage in hostile activity overseas.
