(FrontPage) Anti-Israel activist Rasha Mubarak has been moving quickly up the ranks within the Democratic Party. In the past four months, she has been: named to the board of directors of the Florida Young Democrats (FYD), elected FYD national committeewoman, and given the award for “Florida Young Democrat of the Year.” Now, she has been appointed by the mayor of Orlando to his new Committee on Multicultural Affairs. However, a recent FrontPage Magazine article by this author exposing Mubarak’s radical behavior against Jews may have, at least temporarily, hindered her momentum, as according to Mubarak, she was forced to do “damage control.”
Rasha Ahmad Mubarak has one main goal in life and that is to destroy Israel. To do this: she joins Hamas-linked groups, such as CAIR and Islamic Relief; she leads hate-filled, anti-Israel rallies; and she attaches herself to the Democratic Party, painting herself as a progressive, while using the party to attack the Jewish state.
