Two charged with Springfield, Lower Moreland, Chestnut Hill bank robberies

(Springfield Sun) Two Philadelphia men were arrested April 13 in connection with holdups at four banks over 10 days carried out by an armed robber disguised in a burqa, according to Springfield police.

Daniel Weary, 27, and Victor Manson, 21, were arrested by Philadelphia police shortly after the fourth robbery, which occurred around 5 p.m. April 13 at the Citizen’s Bank in Chestnut Hill, police said.

Manson allegedly wore a burqa and brandished a silver pistol during the robberies of banks in Springfield, Lower Moreland, Haddonfield, N.J., and the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, while Weary allegedly served as the getaway driver, police said.
