CAIR rallies to the defense of ISIS bride who wants to come back to USA

(Conservative Review) A senior official in the terror-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is serving as a pro bono attorney for Hoda Muthana, a Yemeni terrorist and former U.S. resident who wants to come back to the United States following the dissolution of the ISIS “caliphate” in Syria and Iraq.

In interviews with western journalists over the past couple of months, Muthana has attempted to portray herself as an innocent victim of ISIS’ indoctrination. Muthana, 24, left her home in Alabama in 2014 to join the Islamic State in Syria. Her attorney, Hassan Shibly, an Islamist sympathizer and the director of CAIR’s Florida chapter, has been on a media blitz this week making the case that his client should be allowed back into the United States.

Shibly has continuously described Muthana as a victim of people who manipulated her and stated that she is “simply trying to make amends.”
