Search for xenophobic Leeds train passenger who shouted about ‘dislike of Muslims’ The incident happened on a train between York and Leeds

(Leeds Live) A man who ranted about his dislike of Muslim people is being hunted by police after upsetting passengers on a Leeds train.

The man, described as bald and wearing a bomber jacket, offended fellow passengers as he began spewing his xenophobic rant on the service between York and Leeds.

British Transport Police have now released an appeal to anyone who was there who could help identify him.

A spokesperson said the offender was “being loud, talking about his dislike of Muslims” and “offending passengers,” before moving to a different carriage on the 10.52pm TransPennine Express train on Wednesday, October 17.
