(NY Post) A Muslim cop who has been held up as a model example of NYPD diversity was arrested for allegedly forcibly touching two people — including the wife of a police sergeant — during one of the department’s “smoker” boxing events, law-enforcement sources told the Post on Friday.
Officer Tauseef Malik, 27, of Brooklyn’s 72nd Precinct was charged with two counts of forcible touching, two counts of sexual abuse and two counts of harassment for the Thursday night incident and suspended, the NYPD said.
A source called Malik a “butt grabber.”
Malik and co-workers were at the boxing event in Coney Island because they were mandated to be there by the precinct’s commanding officer, according to sources.
